Here we reveal Sigg's secrets;  the gear he uses on stage, his stage

tipples and the history behind the mad man of Eat The Sofa!!!

The Fender Stratocaster is the guitar that Sigg uses.

He has a few, but the main two he uses are shown below:

This is "DELBOY" named after Sigg's father. It's a 1993 anniversary edition of the Fender Stratocaster and is Sigg's main workhorse.

This is a 1984 Squire Stratocaster made by Fender and fondly named "Jimi" after one of Sigg's heroes the late great Jimi Hendrix.

   

Sigg's backline comes from the very powerfull Marshall valvestate VS 100 Watt Amplifier.

It has three channels and a whole spectrum of sound to which Sigg makes the most of.IT

   

The different sounds that Sigg creates come

from the many effects pedals he uses when

playing live and in the studio. He has in his collection a digital tuner, chorus pedal by

Omnifex, A Vox Wha Wha pedal, Arion

analogue delay, Boss compressor / sustainer,

Boss Phaser, Boss Flanger and Marshall

Switching unit.

   

Sigg's musical influences include: Jimi Hendrix, Oasis, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, The Sex Pistols, Alison Krauss, Danny Gatton, 10 Years After, AC/DC, and Earl Scruggs.

Favourite Drinks include; Budweiser Lager, Guinness, Jack Daniels, Gin and Orange, and Red Bull and Vodka (Large).
